Taps might seem simple, but they can develop all sorts of issues over time. Here are the most common ones we see in homes across Hull:

If it’s time for new taps, we fit all types:

• Kitchen taps including monobloc mixers, bridge taps, and wall-mounted taps
• Bathroom basin taps in pillar, mono, and three-hole mixer styles
• Bath taps including bath/shower mixers and deck-mounted fillers
• Outside taps for garden hoses and jet washers

You can supply your own taps if you’ve already bought them, or we can supply them for you. Either way, the fitting cost is the same. We’ll also check your water pressure and pipe sizes to make sure the new tap works properly once it’s in.

Can you fix a dripping tap the same day?

Usually, yes. Dripping taps are one of our most common callouts in Hull. We carry replacement washers and cartridges in the van, so most repairs are done in a single visit.

Is it worth repairing an old tap or should I replace it?

If the tap is just dripping, it’s almost always cheaper to repair it (new washer or cartridge). If the tap body is corroded, cracked, or the chrome is flaking, replacement makes more sense. Henry will give you honest advice on which option is best for your situation.
